Digestive health affects every part of how we feel — Energy, Mood, Focus, Sleep. Jesse offers acupuncture and Chinese Medicine to support gut function, digestive balance, and whole-body regulation, working with people who experience everything from occasional bloating to longstanding irregularities. Rather than chasing symptoms, Jesse’s approach focuses on identifying underlying patterns, whether that’s stagnation, depletion, or heat and choosing treatment strategies that gently help the body restore its rhythm.

Common Concerns People Bring to Clinic

Jesse often works with clients seeking support for:

  • Bloating or abdominal discomfort

  • Irregular bowel movements

  • Reflux or indigestion

  • Appetite fluctuation or food sensitivity

  • Gut-related fatigue or brain fog

  • Stress or emotional patterns that affect digestion

Treatments are always personalised and adapted to how your system presents at each visit. Jesse adapts based on how your system presents each visit, using a mix of acupuncture, bodywork, and Chinese Medicine theory to guide the way.

Modalities Jesse Use's

  • Acupuncture:

    • Used to regulate the nervous system, calm inflammation, and support digestive function

  • Electro-Acupuncture:

    • To help reset gut–brain communication, reduce abdominal tension, and promote motility

  • Cupping Therapy:

    • Encourages better circulation in the abdominal area, supports detoxification, and helps release tension

  • Gua Sha:

    • To relieve stagnation, reducing bloating, and supporting organ function through improved lymphatic and blood flow.

  • Tuina-Style Bodywork:

    • When hands-on manual therapy is indicated

  • Chinese Herbal Medicine:

    • Formulas are prescribed to address underlying imbalances contributing to gut issues

Jesse tailors each session to your gut’s needs, some days focus on calming and clearing, others on strengthening and restoring. Jesse’s sessions are quiet, clear, and collaborative. You’ll walk away not just with a treatment, but with a better understanding of what your system needs

Why Acupuncture?

In Chinese Medicine, digestion is viewed as the center of health. When this system becomes disrupted, it can show up in many forms, not just digestive symptoms. Acupuncture may help regulate the flow of Qi, support the function of the Spleen and Stomach systems, and shift patterns of stagnation or depletion.

Using pulse and tongue diagnosis, palpation, and careful questioning, Jesse selects acupuncture points on the body to support gut regulation, often paired with nervous system calming points to help digestion settle and reset.

Herbal Medicine for Digestive Support

In many cases, Jesse may recommend Chinese herbal formulas alongside acupuncture to support your gut health between sessions. Herbs may be used to address signs of excess (e.g. bloating, heat, sluggishness) or deficiency (e.g. fatigue, cold digestion, loose stools). All prescriptions are sourced from TGA-compliant suppliers and adjusted over time as your system changes.
