Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a form of hands-on manual therapy used to assess, diagnose, treat, and prevent musculoskeletal conditions. It is based on the principle that the body's structure and function are closely connected, and that restrictions in one area can influence other parts of the body.

Our osteopaths apply this whole body approach through detailed assessment and a broad range of treatment techniques. These include direct methods such as massage, dry needling, and joint manipulation (HVLA), as well as gentler approaches like craniosacral therapy, balanced ligamentous tension (BLT), and counterstrain.

With extended 45-minute consultations, our practitioners have the time to assess thoroughly and deliver precise, individualised care. Treatment is adapted to each person, from newborns through to adults, to support how their body moves and functions.

Our osteopaths are univesity trained allied health professionals, completing a five year degree and registered with AHPRA, ensuring a high standard of safety and care

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

By using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), we view the body, mind, and spirit as a single entity.
TCM is based on the belief that energy, known as qi, flows through the body and is responsible for health and wellbeing.
Accompanying the correct flow of qi, ones body must also have a correct balance of Yin and Yang within.

Common treatment methods used in TCM include acupuncture, herbs, moxibustion, cupping, tuina, exercise and diet.
TCM is based on the belief that the body’s vital energy, or qi, must be balanced in order for a person to be healthy. As such, It’s holistic approach to health looks at how a person’s physical, mental and emotional wellbeing are all connected and impact one another.

As an Acupuncturist and Doctor of TCM, we seek to restore balance and harmony in the body, mind, and spirit by balancing the qi, as well as lifestyle changes to implement outside of treatment itself.
